I've always been fascinated with people and the culture around the world. My morals have always led me to help people no matter what the situation. Wanting to explore and help has inspired me to become a part of Think Global to make a valuable difference in this community and inspire others to make a difference in this world.

Hey! I am a 2nd year Program- Bachelor of Health Sciences (Human Health Specialization). I joined Think Global because I looked at it as an opportunity to gain experience, network and build interpersonal skills. By learning new skills, excelling, and receiving encouragement from other members in the group, there’s a lot of potential for personal growth, which is what I was looking for.

"Hey, I am a first year software engineering student at UOIT and joined Think Global to be apart of something more than just my regular life. I want to reach out, learn and make a difference in any way I can. Fun facts about me: I have 3 dogs, I love mangos and I hate eating celery. I love to meet new people, travel and go explore the world too.

"My name is Zain and I'm in my second year of Life Science. I joined Think Global because I am passionate about tackling preventable issues that pose risks for people in my community and beyond. I am originally from Pakistan and in my country there are innumerable issues that make life very difficult for my people, including lack of education, lack of access to clean water and food, as well as inhumane living conditions. I want to work hard with those around me to decrease the suffering in our world and find sustainable solutions to these problems! Some fun facts about me are that I love super spicy food, am addicted to working out, and despite the fact that I grew up in Canada, I still apparently speak English with an accent."

Hello! I am in Third year Nursing and is the Human Resources and Communication Manager. I joined Think Global to be involved in projects and initiatives that would have a positive impact on our local and global communities. I love working with kids at camp throughout the summer and also currently work as a tutor with students who have learning disabilities. I love travelling, learning about different cultures, getting to know people, and most of all hearing each person’s story as my path crosses theirs. In the future, I hope to use my nursing skills and provide care to those around the world that do not have affordable or equal access to health care. - I also love poutine!!
