The idea
One of the main issues that Durham region has been facing in the past and even today is food insecurity. Food insecurity is basically the lack of money to access safe and nutritious food. The individuals most affected by this are single parents (under 18 years), individuals on Ontario Works, individuals on Ontario Disability Support Program, seniors on Old Age Security, college/university students, and Indigenous and racialized people (Durham Region Health Department, 2018).

To implement a greenhouse in Durham region and target food insecurity affecting the population.
